Staying updated with the latest research and best practices in TLSW and related fields is essential, requiring ongoing professional development. Honorary Associate, Richard Rose will deliver this online workshop in December. Delivered over two 3-hour sessions, this will include new or updated tools reflecting the continuation of his direct work, learning from the children and young people he works with. Richard is Director of TLSWi (UK), is a leading expert on Therapeutic Life Story Work and working with 'hard to reach' children and young people as well as Adjunct Associate Professor of Social Work and Social Policy at Latrobe University and Honorary Associate at the Institute for Open Adoption Studies, University of Sydney.

Richard is also delivering Complex Case Analysis and Communicating with Traumatised Children and Young People Sessions in the second half of 2024

Overview

Advanced practitioners in Therapeutic Life Story Work play a crucial role in supporting some of the most vulnerable children and young people. Your expertise not only enhances individual therapeutic outcomes but also contributes to the development of the field and the improvement of practice standards. Through your dedication, advanced practitioners help children understand their past, build a positive identity, and move towards a healthier and more hopeful future.

This workshop is open to TLSW practitioners from all regions including the UK, Europe, US and Asia. It will include sharing of good practice as well as hearing from Richard Rose on his latest tools and therapeutic practice.

Attendees will need to bring with them to the training coloured markers, wall paper and a note pad.

Who should attend?

TLSW Practitioners who have completed or partly completed their Professional Diploma or Advanced Certificate, who are either delivering direct practice or working in an environment where TLSW is part of the therapeutic interventions offered.

Refunds

Refunds will only be made when a written request for cancellation is received no less than 3 business days before the event. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome and must be provided in writing.
