Sarah Forgan

Sarah has worked both in Australia and abroad, as a classroom teacher, an educational advisor for the Ministry of Education in Namibia, founding teacher for a high-performance charter school in Los Angeles, and most recently as a student and staff wellbeing leader in Sydney.

Her early experience in communities and social justice is now woven through an intricate understanding of curriculum design and focused under an umbrella of trauma-informed teaching, positive education, and wellbeing practices.

Sarah is passionate about empowering teachers to best engage with their students and achieve each individual’s unmet needs. Training in a variety of systems, then developing and delivering a diversity of programmes over several years, she has a unique adeptness in not just concepts and content but engaging with an audience. As a Berry Street Consultant, she is excited to be part of a team that values and promotes the philosophies which have driven her career.
