Lisa Hoang

Lisa has over 13 years’ experience across school settings where wellbeing and mental health advocacy has always been an unwavering part of who she is. It has heavily influenced her career as a primary and secondary classroom teacher, mentor, coach, counsellor and experienced educational leader including, most recently, as Head of Positive Education.

She is a compassionate and informed systems change leader with expertise in trauma-informed, positive education and wellbeing practices. Her deep commitment to working with educators to leverage their strengths, resilience and empathy in supporting the healing, growth and flourishing of young people has led her to become a Consultant with the Berry Street Education Model. With her depth of experience in the development and implementation of wellbeing curriculum, programs and initiatives, she hopes to continue this work of building sustainable, thriving learning communities alongside educators and young people.
