Clare has over 25 years of experience working in the Victorian child and family services sector. She has been a case manager, policy advisor, training consultant and held various leadership positions. Clare also worked as a training consultant with the Child Protection and Youth Justice Professional Development Unit for the Department of Health and Human Services.
Clare joined the Take Two Clinical Practice Development team in 2010 and became Team Leader 2 years later. Clare and her team oversee the practice development needs of Take Two staff and also provide consultation, training and practice development activities to external services.
Clare leads Take Two’s site certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and she is certified as an NMT Trainer. Clare is a committed advocate of the NMT approach, which promotes developmental and relational experiences for children and young people recovering from trauma.
