Take Two is an intensive therapeutic service for infants, children and young people who have suffered serious trauma, neglect or abuse. Through the Take Two service, Berry Street works intensively with the child or young person, including their carers, families and teachers, to help them recover.

Case Management Services are designed to meet the needs of young people who engage in high risk behaviours.

MATTERS is a free service for families experiencing conflict or relationships in need of strengthening. Children, young people and their families work through issues in a safe and friendly environment. 
Our Work Healing Childhood Trauma - Take Two

The Wilderness program provides opportunities for young people to join in recreational and adventure based activities in bush settings. Program staff challenge, encourage and guide participants on a journey of self-discovery.

Berry Street Healing Childhood Trauma - Disability


Berry Street runs youth outreach programs for those young people who have both an intellectual disability and challenging behaviours. Our Specialist Intensive Support Program provides support to young people aged between 14 and 21 years of age who have a mild intellectual disability and associated issues which may include substance abuse, inappropriate sexualised behaviours and mental illness. Our Specialist Disability Case Management Service provides case management to clients aged 17 to 25 years with a mild intellectual disability. The clients suitable for this program are often disengaged from education and employment.
