The Commission for Children and Young People has released a report into the use of isolation, separation and lockdowns of young people in Victoria’s youth detention centres. Berry Street CEO Sandie de Wolf AM said she was appalled at the conditions reported.
This week the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) issued a list of charities who have failed to submit Annual Information Statements and are at risk of having their charity status revoked. There is an entity included on the list named “Berry Street Victoria Incorporated Operating as a PBI”. This is not our organisation, Berry Street.
